Alfonso Palacio is a Systems Engineering student at Politécnico Grancolombiano with a strong focus on applied artificial intelligence. He has worked on projects involving machine learning, computer vision, and data analytics, including BachAI, a YOLOv8-based system for automatic pothole detection. He has experience with Python, data processing, and cloud-based solutions, and has contributed to initiatives such as Microsoft Learn Student Ambassadors and collaborative tech projects. Alfonso is passionate about building AI solutions that solve real-world problems and about sharing practical knowledge to help others leverage these technologies in their own work.

Ingeniero químico de la Universidad Nacional de Colombia y actualmente cursando maestría en ingeniería química con enfoque en investigación. Trabajo principalmente con Python para modelamiento matemático, simulaciones, análisis de datos y desarrollo de herramientas útiles en contexto industrial o académico. Actualmente estoy enfocado en investigación sobre producción de hidrógeno en syngas, combinando modelamiento multiescala, simulación molecular y machine learning. También trabajo en Exergia Code, donde desarrollo software y contenido técnico cruzando ingeniería química con programación.
